Welcome
to the Pilot orientation page at American Flight Airways Virtual Airlines. If you are interested
in starting a fun and exciting virtual career at AFA, we recommend you
read the information below.
What
do I need to join?

Microsoft
Flight Simulator 2002, 2004, or FSX is a must. If you don't have flight simulator,
you can purchase it at any leading computer store such as Best Buy, Circuit
City, or online.

You should
be able to install aircraft in flight simulator. If you need help installing
aircraft, read the readme files contained within the aircraft file or seek assistance in our message forum.
-
You should
apply for VATSIM (Virtual Air Traffic Control Network) membership
so you can fly online with real time ATC. Flying online with VATSIM is OPTIONAL however very fun and realistic.
What
should I have/be able to do?
