Welcome to American Flight Airways-Australia!
AFA Australia is the Australian Division of American Flight Airways and has focus cities in Adelaide, Auckland (New Zealand), Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. These focus cities daily serve multiple destinations on the Australian mainland, Asia, and the South Pacific with continued international service to the US, Europe, and Latin America. Sydney is Australia's premier city, the oldest settlement in Australia, the economic powerhouse of the nation, and was the site of the summer Olympics in 2000. Australia counts as AFA's eighth hub and is the primary gateway for all APG pilots to Oceania.

It is with regret that I announce, that due to personal reasons, Don Flint has had to resign as our Regional Director. He will be a hard act to follow. The good news is that he will be staying with us as a pilot. Don has contributed greatly to this hub and will be sorely missed in managing our region. It is with some trepidation that I take over this role. At the same time I am looking forward to be working with you all. Together with Vincent Thomas we will continue to look for ways to improve our region.
As always we are looking for suggestions to make your own flying for our airline, a better experience still. You can do this, by either sending us an email or by using our hub forum.
This Sunday the 28th, an ATC day is held in India. This starts at 1030Z and finishes at 1330Z, 1030Z translates to 2030 Australian Eastern Standard Time and so is ideal. Most of India will be covered.
You are all cordially invited to join me in Mumbai at 1030Z for an online flight to Delhi, or another destination of your choice.
